I am pippa, I teach yoga with the intention to inspire others to connect through the journey of movement. Yoga is a relationship between the body, the mind and the breath, freeing ourselves from obstacles so we can move through life with wellbeing.
• The body of yoga helped me physically after a injury left me with limited mobility. Yoga brought back balance to my body and a deeper understanding, acceptance and respect for what my body presents to me daily.
• The breath of yoga leans heavily on the nervous system and this helped me find freedom from anxiety which I had suffered with for many years.
• The mind of yoga helps me to be more present in life.
The unity of these yoga practices have allowed me to live and maintain a happier healthier life.
We all come to yoga for different reasons. Everyone is welcome to practice, I am here to guide others through the class safely so you can experience and observe the benefits for yourself.
There are many misconceptions about yoga, so let me clear some of these up for you now…
You do not need to be flexible, strong, a certain age, gender or be able to wrap yourself up into the shape of a pretzel!! All you need is a body, a mind and the ability to breathe! (And maybe a yoga mat if you have one) I will help with the rest.
